52 Windows to Europe
The year 2023 will feature European cinema from classics to contemporary gems, fiction, documentaries, animation, silent film concerts – films for everyone!
Pirkanmaa Film Centre (PEK) and Tampere Film Festival will organise a weekly film series called 52 Windows to Europe during 2023. Most of the films will be screened at the Arthouse Cinema Niagara, in Tampere, but some of the films will also be shown at other venues and in some other municipalities of the Tampere Region (a.k.a. Pirkanmaa).
During the year, the programme will include European films ranging from classics to contemporary gems, fiction, documentaries, animation, silent film concerts – films that would otherwise not be shown in local cinemas. There will be movies for everyone from children to adults.
52 Windows to Europe is part of the Operation Pirkanmaa, a development project of culture run jointly by 20 municipalities of Pirkanmaa.
Find the updated program at the Arthouse Cinema Niagara’s web site 52 ikkunaa Eurooppaan and on the Tampere Film Festival web site.
